Implementation Consultant

Amplify Advisors is looking for an Implementation Consultant for AmplifyTech to assist in NetSuite implementations.

The three key characteristics of our consultant include:

  1. strong communication skills
  2. passion for clear & concise documentation
  3. technical background with ERP experience and understanding.

The successful candidate will also have a passion for technology and strong attention to detail.

They will be excited about working on our client experience team and working closely with sales, delivery operations, and executives within Amplify.

Implementation Consultant

The key characteristics of this role are

  • Interacting with clients and presenting custom demos, working along with the sales team
  • Understanding client requirements and creating scope documentation
  • Responsible for configuration and customization of NetSuite ERP as per client requirements
  • Quick learner and being adaptable. Being open-minded for discussions and promoting team collaboration
  • Taking initiative, responsibility, and ownership of your projects

Client Experience

The candidate will be responsible for key activities with our clients directly. Working with a project manager and using Agile methodology, work closely with the team to assess client needs, develop solutions, and implement them to the satisfaction of the client. You will communicate changes and prioritize change management and the culture of the client. You will be prepared to advise on best practices. You will be prepared to advance business process improvements that will amplify the use of NetSuite for the client and support the growth strategies of the client.

You will be responsive to opportunities for other service lines of Amplify that will help the client. You’ll work with the account manager and sales team to bring such opportunities to the client.

About Amplify

AmplifyTech Team Member

The implementation consultant will have:

  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite and QuickBooks or other accounting software used by small and medium business
  • NetSuite training and certification is nice to have and otherwise will be required to be achieved on the job
  • At least 3 years of ERP implementation experience with NetSuite prioritized and nice to have
  • Understanding of relational databases and experience with scripting will be essential to be successful in this role
  • Experience in business process analysis and design
  • Experience in client service
  • Excellent documentation skills and communication skills

About Amplify

AmplifyTech Team Member

The implementation junior consultant  will be prepared to learn

  • Functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite and QuickBooks or other accounting software used by small and medium business
  • Leverage a Computer Science bachelor degree to bring efficiency to implementations

Understanding of relational databases and willingness to learn scripting will be essential to be successful in this role.

  • Interest in developing expertise in business process analysis and design
  • Passion and experience in client service (including non-technical student jobs that included customer or client interactions)
  • Excellent documentation skills and communication skills

We are a team of Business Leaders, Advisors, and Connectors who build, implement and customize NetSuite for our Clients.

AmplifyTech is associated with our other company, AmplifyAdvisors. Amplify Advisors is a leading consulting firm that specializes in business growth consulting and specializes in placing Finance leaders, CFO’s and controllers to help driven businesses scale. Our business advisors are passionate about continuous improvement project consulting for any size finance team and organization. We also assist small-medium businesses with other advisory work.

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking a college or university student to join our Amplify team for a summer position. This position will be full-time for a period of 16 weeks~ with the potential to lead into a full-time position (Which we are hoping for!)

Job Description

In today’s world driving growth requires a blended skill set of sales and marketing, not just one or the other. What that means is you will have the chance to use modern-day marketing tactics and strategies coupled with a strategic sales approach to generate new leads for the business. In order to help you succeed, you will be equipped with in-depth sales training, marketing training, and industry-leading software. Any current skills and proficient understanding of professional social media platforms (LinkedIN, etc) and tactics is a huge asset.

Once you get familiar with our clients, process, and technology, we want you to use your own creativity to test and try new ways to generate leads. With an entrepreneurial and fun atmosphere here at Amplify, we are no strangers to trying new things, failing, learning, and giving it another crack.

Responsibilities & Duties

This position will primarily be a remote work from a home seat that will require the use of electronic devices such as a laptop and smartphone, so self-motivation is key.

  • Actively find and create sales opportunities with small and medium-sized businesses
  • Execution of cold email and call strategies with a personalized touch
  • Report to the Head of Growth of AmplifyTech
  • Meeting and surpassing weekly and monthly KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Assist in the development of outbound sales and marketing strategies
  • Assist in the building of proposals and qualifying leads
  • Provide constant internal feedback for continuous improvement and development
  • Other tasks and duties as required (you are comfortable taking on new things)

Your Experience

  • Some business development or marketing experience. Not required but considered an asset
  • Proven strong communication skills
  • Marketing automation tool experience is an asset
  • Design experience skills are an asset
  • Website and technical marketing experience is an asset
  • Social media experience

You Are

  • Your program includes business development, marketing, entrepreneurship, or communications. (not
    required but preferred)
  • You are a student in a college or university program
  • You have an entrepreneurial passion. You have the ability to take things from 0 – 100
  • You are gritty, passionate, and always willing to grow, personally and professionally
